Meet Kinleigh Connelly

Kinleigh Mackay Connelly (affectionately known as Kinny Mac) is a vivacious 7 year old with a personality that lights up a room. Kinny is one of 4 children; big brother Daniel, big sister Briehan, and little sister Maeve. Cookie Connelly, a sweet little Biewer Terrier puppy, has also joined the family. Cookie has been a great source of comfort and joy for Kinny.

Kinleigh, in Gaelic, means fair-haired warrior and this little one is showing everyone just how fitting her name is! Kinny began her battle after being diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma of the Pons, also known as DIPG, in September of 2023. She has bravely endured Photon Radiation treatment, which had a positive result, shrinking her tumor! The Connelly Family is now looking to begin a clinical trial in March. 

Kinny loves to dance, especially with her big sister. She enjoys arts and crafts and a new found love of puzzles. Throughout the last five months, Kinny and her family have been blessed to create many memories together. The Connelly Family continues to fight, hope, and pray that there will be new options and treatments for all of those battling childhood cancer.
